For the safety of our students and in accordance with Maine CDC recommendations students will not be able to sing indoors for the start of our school year. For this year, in lieu of chorus, we will be offering the following course virtually during our remote Wednesday time. Students will be asked to sign up if they are interested during the first full week of classes. Please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Etter with any questions!
Principles of Singing:
This course is offered for students who are interested in learning more about singing and vocal technique for the solo voice and small ensembles. Students will participate in lessons that will allow them to learn about, listen to and analyze new music. They will then record themselves singing using their computers during remote instruction time on Wednesdays. Students will get to choose if they would like to focus on solo singing or if they would like to become part of a small group ensemble that will work together digitally to create a virtual choir performance.
